Meet The CTH Team

Hello! I am the Director here at Children’s Tree House. I have been at CTH since July 2010 as the director and have been working in the early childhood education field since 1990. I grew up in North Eastern Pennsylvania and graduated from Southern Virginia University in 1994.

I am married to an amazing husband, Phil, and we have 2 wonderful boys, Travis and Chase. When I am not at the center I can be found on my farm with my family where we breed and raise show pigs, meat pigs, and honeybees. I am very involved in the Spring Mills FFA Alumni chapter and serve on their board. I am also a founding member of ANBE (Association of Nature-Based Education) and serve on their Board of Directors. I love to go camping with our family and friends. August is always busy for us with the county and state fairs and my yearly canning.

Some of my favorites are the color green, Italian food, Reese’s Fast Break candy bar, the Spring season, and browsing and shopping on Amazon.

Hi! I am the 2 year old teacher here at CTH. I was born and raised in good ole West Virginia. I reside in Kearneysville with my daughter and fiance. I graduated from Shepherd University in 2010 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Family and Consumer Sciences and a minor in Education. I have been working in childcare since 2002 and have been here at CTH since 2013. I’ve always known that I wanted to be a teacher, but I found my love for early education after college.

In my free time, I enjoy spending it with family and friends, volunteering, and being active in my church, going to concerts, co-leading a girl scout troop and crafting. A few of my favorites include iced coffee, Mexican food, crosses and anchors, music, shopping, and all things Fall!

Hello, I am the Pre-K teacher at the Children's Tree House. I have been employed at CTH since 2018, during which time I
have developed meaningful relationships with both the families and staff. I graduated from Shepherd University in May of
2019 with a Regents of Bachelor’s Arts degree, specializing in Early Childhood Education. My future aspirations include
furthering my education by obtaining a master's degree in special education. Currently, I reside in Inwood, WV, with my
parents Paula and Chuck and sister Britney. I frequently travel to Winchester to visit my boyfriend Josh of two years and
his two daughters Ava and Wyonnia. In my spare time, I enjoy engaging in various activities such as coaching softball,
photography, traveling, watching sports, listening to music, and spending time outdoors. My favorites include Reese cups,
the color light blue, and shopping at retail stores like TJ Maxx, Hobby Lobby, and Amazon.Joined the CTH Team in November of 2018

Hello! I am the infant teacher. I have been here at CTH since March of 2020. I have my degree in Early Childhood Education. Fun fact about me, I am a 4th generation teacher. My great grandparents were teachers. They met at Shepherd when it was just a school for teachers. My grandmother was a teacher for 32 years before she retired, and my mom is a kindergarten teacher.

I live in Yellow Spring, WV with my parents. I am one of three girls and I have a great boyfriend, who I have been dating since November of 2013. I am the aunt of two beautiful little girls named Caroline and Addison. Some of my favorite things to do are spend time with family, spend time with friends and eat out at my favorite restaurants, like Olive Garden or El Ranchero. I love to shop on Amazon but who doesn’t love Amazon, right????

Hi! I am the Toddler teacher here at CTH. I have been working in childcare since 2011. I have my ACDS (Apprenticeship for Child Development Specialist). I am the toddler teacher her at CTH.  During my free time I enjoy going to wrestling shows, car shows
and dirt track races with my family and hanging out with my nieces and nephews. I also enjoy going on hikes with my 2 dogs (Bear and CoCo). Also, I enjoy going to car shows and watching my brothers race dirt track cars.

Hello, I am the three-year-old teacher here at Children’s Tree House. I went to James Rumsey for two years studying Early Childhood Education. I’ve been with Children’s Tree House for 4 years now. One of my main goals I made to myself is to work along side Special needs Children and help them grow as well as other children. I’ve always wanted to help children grow. One of my favorite things about working at CTH is everyone is like family. We all help each other, and no one is left behind. I love working with all age groups. The children are well mannered for their ages, especially when it comes to “please and thank you”.

Some of my favorite hobbies are to bake, to camp, and spend time with family.

Hello! I am a floater teacher here at CTH. I went to James Rumsey Technical Institute for two years studying Early Childhood Education.

I received my Early Childhood Education certificate on top of my diploma for graduation in May of 2021. I have been in the childcare field since May of 2021 & I’ve been at CTH since March of 2022.

In my free time, I enjoy traveling, being outside, listening to music, going to concerts, and hanging out with my family, friends, and three dogs.

I look forward to getting to know you and your child/children.

Hi! I’m Ms. Jenn- member of the support staff since 2022, center cook, and summer camp wrangler (yes, I wear a lot of hats!). For over 15 years, I’ve enjoyed working with children and helping them grow during their most important years. I feel strongly about providing a safe, loving environment while also having FUN! I’m currently continuing my journey to earn my Early Childhood Education degree by attending the Accredited Child Development Specialist program.
When I’m not working, you’ll find me tackling DIY home projects, cheering for the Buffalo Bills, and crafting ALL of the things! I’ve been married to my Army veteran hero for 20+ years. Together we are raising one Mountaineer son at WVU & one professional teenage son at home.

Hello! My name is Blake Roane, and I am a proud member of the WOW Summer Camp and substitute teacher team. Currently, I am a student Shepherd University to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education, with a goal to graduate by 2029. Born and raised in the Kearneysville, WV area, I plan to continue contributing to my local community. In my free time, I enjoy playing video games and spending time with friends.

Hi! My name is Olivia Cole and I am the 2-year-old assistant teacher here at Children’s Tree House! I’ve been here since October of 2024! I was born and raised in West Virginia and I currently reside in Falling waters with my Fiancé and 4 dogs. I have received a 2-year degree of Applied Science in Digital Media at Blue Ridge Community and Technical College! Even though I did not attend college for child development, I always wanted to be a teacher and help kids learn and grow! I am grateful I get the opportunity to watch the kids achieve amazing accomplishments! Outside of work, I enjoy being with my friends and family, including my 4 dogs (Willow, Ivy, Winter and Juniper). I also love being outside and doing different projects. A few of my favorite things include the color pink, anything western/highland cows, shopping, sushi and of course, my Jeep!
